La Pieve Chianti D.O.C.G. is mainly composed of Sangiovese, whose tannins give the wine an excellent structure, in addition to Canaiolo, Ciliegiolo and Colorino, in compliance with Chianti DOC regulations.
Vinification takes place in concrete tanks. The wine undergoes at least 6 months of aging in bottles before being sold.
With an intense ruby appearance, the aroma has prominent cherry and blackberry fruit, with underlying hints of forest floor. The palate reveals a juicy, lively and inviting body, followed by a pleasantly clear finish.
