Chianti Riserva D.O.C.G. Fortebraccio is produced from Sangiovese and Merlot grapes from our oldest vinyards.
Maceration takes place in concrete vats for 20 days to best extract colour and tannins. The wine is aged in French oak barriques for 12 months and then refined for 6 months in bottles.
Beautiful deep ruby appearance, inviting the nose to experience tertiary notes of tobacco and leather, sustained by aromas of jam, blackberries and plums, with a few hints of aromatic herbs, such as sage and rosemary. Soft in the mouth, it shows well-integrated tannins, providing for a fruity aftertaste.
